The 3rd Autoclave Users Group Conference (AUGC) was held in Turkey March 15th through March 17th. The biannual conference was hosted by MOGAS Industries, Inc. and the in-person event was much appreciated after several years apart and a previous postponement of the 2020 AUGC due to the pandemic. Over 60 delegates visited the Rixos Premium Belek Hotel and Resort in Antalya, Turkey for the conference which featured 2 full days of technical presentations from 11 autoclave end users and OEM suppliers offering commercial insights and case studies into the latest advancements in autoclave processing innovations.
Delegates from around the globe participated in the event. Topics covered during the conference included The Golden Rules of Pressure Oxidation and Pressure Leaching Operations, Scaling Mitigation, High-Pressure Acid Leach R&D Investment, PI Systems Digital Reporting, and 3D Laser Scanning Methods. Guests of the event also enjoyed local Turkish customs, like an authentic dinner featuring live music and dancing, sightseeing opportunities, hand crafted art, such as Turkish tiles, and the ever-present Turkish delight dessert which was well enjoyed.
The Autoclave Users Group Conference allows autoclave operators and experts to share insights and wisdom into operations best practices, new service techniques and opportunities for collaboration and networking within the mining and autoclave community. Delegates of this year's conference gave the event a 9.5 out of 10 overall satisfaction rating based on quality of technical content, venue, and other criteria.
