As a first-time entrant into the competition, the success of the newsletter has been captured first in its 9 out 10 satisfaction rating among readership, and now, through major recognition from Houston's
Association of National Advertisers (ANA), Business Marketing.
The State of MOGAS newsletter was introduced in April 2018 in order to effectively improve communication internally by keeping employees up to date on the latest and most impactful stories happening in the company. Since then, each month the newsletter has served its purpose in highlighting our people, products and process that make our company an interesting and exciting place to work.
In the "Matt's Memo" section, company president and CEO, Matt Mogas, offers a direct word to employees on how the featured stories and employees are important to the company's progress, providing direction and clarity about why we do what we do. Additionally, a stand-out employee is prominently featured in the "Who's Who" section, highlighting the special skills, personality, and dedication of the impactful team members who make a difference in their role. Further, the second page and occasional seasonal inserts refine the story of our company by keeping employees up to date on the latest advancements in QHSE, employee engagement initiatives, company updates, and upcoming events.
