For the fourth year in a row, MOGAS Industries, Inc. has been listed as one of the best 100 companies to work for in Texas, ranking 32 in the medium-sized company category. While hundreds of companies participated in the competition, only the top 100 finalists attended the awards celebration in Austin, Texas. Selected companies were separated into three categories: small (15-99 employees); medium (100-499 employees); and large (500+ employees).
Hosted by the Texas Association of Business (TAB), the Texas Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM), and sponsored by Texas Monthly magazine, the ‘100 Best Companies’ list showcases the best employers in Texas, who prioritize employee engagement and better workplace environments. Companies that chose to participate in the competition completed a two-part survey including an overview of the company’s policies, procedures and organizational structure, followed by an extensive employee questionnaire.
The questionnaire identified specific interests and suggestions from our team members in an Employee Feedback Report, which included a summary of anonymous employee responses and a state benchmark, for comparison purposes. The Best Companies Group, an independent workplace standards research firm, analyzed the survey results according to eight core focus areas: leadership and planning, corporate culture and communications, role satisfaction, work environment, relationship with supervisor, training, development and resources, pay & benefits and overall engagement.
